The IT Supervisor is responsible for supervising and executing daily IT operations related to infrastructure, systems, networks, and security to ensure stable system performance and service quality.
This role focuses on assigning tasks, guiding team members, and providing hands-on technical support when required. The Supervisor supports the line Manager in implementing action plans, monitors team performance, and ensures IT activities are carried out in accordance with company procedures and security standards.
The position also supports continuous improvement at team level by identifying operational issues, contributing recommendations, and improving service delivery and team effectiveness.
1. Team & IT Operations Management
- Supervise daily IT operations to ensure stable system performance and service quality
- Assign tasks, guide team members, and monitor work progress and performance
- Handle operational incidents and support resolution of user issues to minimize escalation
- Maintain records of service requests, incidents, and operational activities
- Support training and provide on-the-job guidance to improve team capability
2. Infrastructure & System Support
- Support installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT infrastructure (network devices, servers, PCs, operating systems, applications)
- Monitor system and network performance; perform routine checks (backups, logs, system health)
- Troubleshoot system, network, and application issues and coordinate resolution
- Execute deployment, upgrade, and testing tasks based on established standards
3. Service Improvement & Compliance
- Support analysis of system performance and recommend improvements to line Manager
- Ensure team follows IT policies, procedures, and security standards
- Maintain and update IT documentation, user guidelines, and operational procedures
- Support improvement of team workflows and service delivery processes
4. Coordination & Support Activities
- Coordinate with internal departments, Global IT, and vendors as assigned for issue resolution and system support
- Execute assigned IT project tasks and support team-level implementation
- Track and maintain IT assets, including hardware, software, and accessories inventory
5. Security Systems (CCTV & Alarm)
- Support monitoring and maintenance of CCTV and alarm systems
- Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with vendors when required
- Support incident handling and footage retrieval for investigation purposes
