Job Responsibilities

• Understand and gather requirements from users requirements for application system development.
• Understand existing processes and identify areas possible for automation.
• Working in US business hours based on Chicago time.
• Develop python scripts used for automating existing business processes.
• Involved in Digital Transformation project to improve the firm’s productivity.
• Maintain existing application systems and websites used by Straits Financial Group.
• Maintain alignment with Straits Financial Group IT policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ application development experience python programming and automation
• Knowledge on Robotic Process Automation tools like UI Path, Automation Anywhere and Blue Prism is a plus.
• Ability to pick up new programming languages for application development.
• Self-motivated, high level of dependability, organization, attention to detail, strong communication and problem solving skills required. Candidate must be able to efficiently multi-task in a fast-paced and challenging environment
• Strong team player.
• Background and working knowledge of IT Compliance and cybersecurity is a plus
• Working knowledge of commodity futures trading platforms is a plus
• Strong comunication in English
• Experience in software development;
• Work independently and in groups;
• Careful, meticulous, high sense of responsibility;
• Able to work under high pressure.
