Job Responsibilities

• Overseeing the development of test plans, designs, executions, and defect management; reporting to stakeholders
• Promote an automation-first strategy for system, component, SIT, and integration testing.
• Skilled in developing and managing test beds and test documentation (such as test plans, test scopes, and test summary reports) for the ST and SIT phases.
• Oversee/provide test execution across various testing life cycles for new features.
• Possessing leadership skills and having led a small team of about six people Effective communication with the project and business team, along with stakeholder management.
• Have experience with test scoping, effort estimating, creating and delivering test artifacts, test plan, TSR, daily updates, and driving and delivering the results of ST and SIT testing within the predetermined timeframe and scope.
• Take proactive steps to address problems found during software testing, defect triage, and prioritizing fixing the problems.
• Write, update, and adapt automation scripts to SIT flow as needed.
• Promote an automation-led testing strategy throughout the organization
• Offer insights into quality measures, such as trend analysis of inconsistencies and flaws.
• Handle risk proactively while adhering to regulations and standards of compliance.
• Create new things and use Quality Engineering techniques into all you do.
• Take ownership of, oversee, and present the benefits of PIRs for ongoing release process enhancement.
• Mentor and coach young automation engineers
• Developing and implementing automated tests for the phases of testing for features, systems, and integrated systems.
• Monitoring assigned test cases and designs to make sure testing deadlines are fulfilled
• Produce a test report.
• Fluency in English is essential.

Job Requirements

• • Typically at least 7+ years of automation experience in Web and API testing.
• Experience in developing automation framework (web/ api) from scratch and deliver as a service
• Hands-on experience with implementing test tooling, building and maintaining automation frameworks for various application architectures (eg Web, Desktop, Microservices/API, etc)
• Experience in SIT testing with complex integration systems and defect Management.
• API/Microservices testing experience (Both Restful and MQ)
• Proficient in one or more programming language – Java, JavaScript, Python, TypeScript
• Demonstrated experience in leveraging different automation tools & libraries (Java, Selenium, API testing framework, Perfecto, GIT, Jenkins, AutoSDK, Selenium., etc)
• Significant experience working with CI/CD (Jenkins/Harness) or Docker is highly beneficial
• Proficiency in driving the strategy, implementation, and execution of test automation solutions
• Ability to confidently communicate with all levels of management and clearly articulate complex technical issues to peers and stakeholders

Nice to have:

• Sound experience /knowledge in Financial Crime or Fraud domain
• Working Experience in Banking/finance industry will be well regarded.
