We are looking for an experienced manager with a strong background in IT and software delivery. This proactive leader will be able to manage complex projects, drive high-quality outcomes, and collaborate effectively with both internal teams and foreign clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Delivery Excellence: Oversee project scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards to ensure successful execution.
Risk & Change Management: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies while handling project changes effectively.
Process Optimization: Contribute to standardizing methodologies, tools, and best practices for continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as a key liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders, including Japanese clients and steering committees.
Team Leadership & Development: Manage, mentor, and support a team of 15–50 members, ensuring their professional growth and high-level delivery.
Provide leadership, guidance, and support to project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment, encouraging open communication and feedback.
Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular project status updates.
Identify and resolve project issues and risks, escalating as necessary to ensure project success.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery and Agile adoption.
Analyze project performance and identify areas for improvement.
Implement changes to processes and practices to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Map out execution plans and communicate roles, responsibilities, objectives, commitments, deliverables, and schedules for tribes and squads.
Support and replace the Product Owners on features backlog, prioritization, and release planning that will realize the greatest business value.
Facilitate squads or project teams to think out-of-the-box and collaborate to improve efficiency and velocity.
Guide teams for continuous improvement momentum and clear obstacles to help them meet delivery timelines.
Ensure the team adheres to Agile best practices and maintains high productivity and quality. Help team members to use and navigate agile tools and software (Confluence, Jira).

REQUIREMENTS

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field.
Experience: 5+ years in IT project management, handling teams of 15–50 members.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Complex problems should be simplified into infographics (table, chart, diagram).
Project Management Skills: Expertise in budgeting, estimation, risk & quality management, and resource planning.
Methodology Knowledge: Proficiency in Waterfall & Agile methodologies.
Software Delivery Experience: Successfully led complex IT projects for foreign clients.
Client Relations & Presentation: Strong ability to manage client expectations, conduct presentations, and build solid relationships.
Open-mindedness and willingness to learn: Ability to accept feedback, adapt to new approaches, and continuously develop your skills.
English communication at an advanced level.
