IT Security Engineer (SecOps) (m/f/d)

• You plan and implement security policies based on customer business requirements throughout the whole IT security landscape (e.g. firewalls, proxies, email gateways, WAFs, anti-virus)
• You take care of security technology related support requests for our customers, while maintaining a high level of security at all times
• You support the SOC team in analyzing and responding to security events
• You do security assessments of our infrastructure and applications and consult and guide our customers in all questions concerning IT security
• You automate security incident detection processes and create threat mitigations using established tools such as a SIEM.
• In the event of security incidents, you will take on the role of security incident manager.
• Planning, implementation, administration, maintenance and further development of IT security systems in the areas of core infrastructures, cloud environments and container architectures
• Contact person for specialist departments on questions of operational IT security

• Degree in IT-Security, Computer Science or similar experience
• You have a broad view of IT security and like to go deep on occasion and a deep understanding of the IPv4-
• You have good knowledge in at least one area of Enterprise IT Security (Endpoint, Network, Mobile, Identity, Mail)
• You have basic experience in scripting with Python, Bash or similar
• You face problems responsibly, outcome-oriented and as a fair team player
• You show initiative, you are well organized and interested in security technologies and attack methods
• Great but not required: You've already made acquaintance with public cloud environments like AWS, GCP or Azure
