About the Role:

• We’re looking for a talented Backend Developer to join our core product team. You’ll work with a fast-moving group of engineers, designers, and business analysts to build scalable backend systems that power our product. Your focus will be backend architecture, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.

What You'll Do:

• Service Development (Python & TypeScript):
  • Build and maintain APIs and event-driven services with FastAPI / Encore and Node.js.
• Data Engineering:
  • Model and optimize PostgreSQL databases, implement Row-Level Security, and enforce multi-tenant isolation.
• Cloud & Infrastructure:
  • Design AWS architectures (ECS Fargate, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, Cognito, etc.).
  • Define infrastructure as code using AWS CDK, Terraform, or Pulumi.
• CI/CD & Dev Experience:
  • Automate build, test, and deployment pipelines with GitHub Actions.
  • Champion zero-downtime blue-green or canary releases.
• Collaboration & Quality:
  • Participate in design reviews, write clear documentation, and mentor teammates.
