JOB PURPOSE

  • The Senior Executive will support the Institutional Equities Sales team in servicing institutional clients by delivering market insights, facilitating client requests, and promoting research and product offerings.
  • This role supports the business by ensuring quality client coverage, contributing to idea generation, and helping drive institutional flows through timely coordination with internal teams.

Responsibilities

1. Products Market Analysis & Services

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and financial product developments, ensuring clients are informed about investment opportunities and solutions
  • Support sales and research requests on market trends & intelligence to effectively address clients’ queries and deliver sales products & services
  • Coordinate interactions between clients and analysts

  • High-quality market (flows, macro, corporate news, etc.) analysis with actionable insights
  • KPI-based & subject to fit to Senior Executive level

2. Business Development & Sales Execution Support

  • Assist in new institutional clients’ onboarding, leveraging networks and market intelligence
  • Track and follow up on corporate access and placement interests
  • Assist senior sales in implementing targeted strategies to approach and onboard new clients

  • Smooth coordination between sales, trading and research

  • KPI-based & subject to fit to Senior Executive level

3. Client Relationship Management

  • Support senior sales in managing day-to-day institutional client needs and requests
  • Distribute timely research and market updates to clients
  • Maintain relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty

  • Increased client engagement and responsiveness

4. Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Support in developing and executing sales’ strategies
  • Promote products such as market updates, research reports, block deals, and trading ideas/investment opportunities to clients

Requirements

1. Education

  • Bachelor’s degree from a well-regarded institution in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related fields
  • Must hold or be willing to obtain a valid SSC Broking License
  •  Additional certifications/coursework in financial markets would be a plus

2. Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in institutional sales, equity research, client servicing, or capital markets role
  • Prior exposure to institutional clients or equity markets is highly preferred

3. Skills & Competencies

  • Solid knowledge of Vietnam stock market and macro trends
  • Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid communication and presentation skills (both verbal and written)
  • Excellent in English (verbal and writing)
  • Knowledge of relevant programs such as MS Office (i.e. PowerPoint, Excel, PowerBI, etc.), data providers (i.e. Fiinpro, Bloomberg, etc.) is a major plus
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask under pressure
