We are developing a cross-border global recruitment support business that connects human resources and companies around the world. A total of approximately 300,000 highly-skilled human resources from 136 countries are registered in our self-developed database, and we have a track record of doing business with approximately 400 companies, mainly major Japanese global companies and IT companies. Also, from 2019, we will enter the field of "specific skills". In order to solve Japan's chronic labor shortage, we are entrusted with projects from government agencies and local governments. In cooperation with government agencies, we provide employment support for young human resources in emerging countries. We welcome excellent human resources from countries with a shortage of employment to Japan, where there is a serious shortage of human resources, and contribute to solving social problems around the world with the power of business.

  • Salary: For overtime work that exceeds 40 hours a month, a separate overtime allowance will be provided. There is a possibility of overtime work hours, holiday work, time shift, etc. Commuting allowance will be provided. (There are conditions and maximum amount.)
  • Salary Revision: Will be determined based on the result of the Employee's performance evaluation in June and December.
  • Bonus: A performance bonus will be paid in June and December of each year in accordance with the Employee’s most recent performance evaluation

  • Work Style: 1.Flextime system (R-Flex): Flextime allows employees to decide when to start and finish their work days as long as the total number of hours worked satisfy the minimum monthly amount. This system is geared toward improving productivity by allowing work hours to be efficiently allocated according to business needs. 2. Staggered working hours (R-Timeshift): Employees who are not eligible for the flextime system are allowed to start work two hours before or finish work two hours after their regularly scheduled times regardless of the reason. 3. Work from Home (R-Satellite): Working from home due to pregnancy, childcare, caregiving, injury, or illness is permitted. 4. COVID-19-Appropriate Work Style: We allow flextime and staggered working hours while ensuring the safety of our employees. Depending on the situation, remote work may be encouraged for all employees.
  • Social Insurance: Employee Pension Insurance, Health Insurance, Nursing Insurance, Employment Insurance, Industrial Accident Compensation Insurance, etc.
  • Support for balancing work with childcare/caregiving The return to work rate after Rakuten employees take maternity and childcare leave is at 99% (as of 2020). Support Systems for Childbirth, Childcare, and Caregiving includes In-house Daycare Center (Rakuten Golden Kids) and Mother’s Room (Nursing Room) etc.
  • Cafeteria: In our offices equipped with a cafeteria, we provide three meals a day (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), free of charge.
