Person Profile: 

  • A well-structured individual, with strong organisational and planning skills who is both comfortable and capable of working under pressure. Has a good network within the OpCo and is able to easily identify the right individuals required at key moments in the project.
  • Ideally university educated – with a minimum of a Bachelors degree – and proficient in working in English.
  • Experience of working in a finance related discipline would be an advantage, but not essential.

Role Scope:

  • Works with the DBB Transition Toolkit to provides the structural reference for the OpCo project team. This includes planning, project, resource and time management to ensure that the OpCo is able to deliver all scheduled and on-demand tasks on time in full.

Line Management Activities: 

  • Reports to the OpCo Transition Manager.
  • No direct reports, but requires a good working relationship with OpCo business support & administrative teams. This role also works closely with the Transition Managers and with the DBB Regional PMO.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the creation, update and delivery of all aspects of the OpCo project plan, ensuring that there is:

  • Use of the standard project management methodology;
  • A clear tracker of actions, plans, budgets, quality standards, deliverables and dependencies;
  • Collaboration with the DBB Project Transition Team on timeline creation, tracking and reporting;
  • Recognition of risks and concerns, with an action plan established to mitigate these.

Requirements

  • Work experience of 5-8 years.
  • Demonstrated experience of project management – through either business transformation projects or digital project deployments.
  • Cross-functional experience which fosters an end-to-end way of thinking.
  • A structured and logical thinker with strong planning skills.

  • A good communicator with strong active listening skills who can make the links between different activities.
  • A team player, who works collaboratively and delivers through others.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and dealing with complexity & time pressure which may require escalation of topics.
