  • The Junior AR Accountant is responsible for supporting the Accounts Receivable process by posting transactions, reconciling customer accounts, handling deductions, and assisting with collections.
  • This role ensures timely and accurate reporting, supports smooth cash flow operations, and contributes to effective customer relationship management.

Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable Processing & Reporting

  • Post daily deposits for accounts
  • Maintain account summary and report to senior manager on a regular basis
  • Reconciliation of Accounts Receivable for Key Accounts
  • Prepare and forward monthly Open Items Reports to customers

Deductions Management

  • Verify validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, trade promotions, customer service, and customers
  • Obtain approval for valid or authorized deductions
  • Resolve invalid or unauthorized deductions by following established procedures.

Requirements

  • Working 8 hours per day from Monday to Friday in which 4-hour night shift from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM
  • Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance or related major.
  • Around three (3) years experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain accuracy
  • Experience with SAP is an asset
  • Attention to detail
