DATA SCIENTIST

Data Collection

• Identifying relevant data sources for business needs
• Build, automate and enhance data collection processes
• Set up data infrastructure and environment

Data Mining

• Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data
• Process, cleanse, and validate the integrity of data to be used for analysis
• Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns
• Use AI techniques to select features, create and optimize classifiers
• Build and evaluation of predictive analytics models using data mining techniques and machine-learning algorithms

Data Visualization

• Convey complex ideas as data stories in a non-technical way to assist decision making
• Build interactive dashboards and reports using data visualization techniques

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ Engineering, Information Technology or related technical discipline with 2 years relevant experience.
• Proven experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst
• Understanding of ML/AI models can be applied to data mining and predictive analytics
• Understanding of Explainable AI/Interpretable AI/Explainable Machine Learning (Optional)
• Experience with any of these Specialized domains:
  • Machine learning solution for Mining/Energy/location-based problems
  • Business process automation/Business digitalization
• Experience using BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) and data frameworks (e.g.Hadoop, Spark)
• Analytical mind and business acumen
• Good math skills (e.g. statistics, algebra)
• Good problem-solving skills
• Fluent English Communication skills
