We are seeking a highly skilled Product Owner (ERP/CRM, IFRS & Odoo) to lead the vision and roadmap of our packaged ERP/CRM system with IFRS compliance. This role bridges business, accounting standards, and technology, ensuring the product aligns with IFRS 15/16, IAS 21/IAS 2 while being easy to configure for SMBs, deployable in one click, and structured in a modular Odoo-style architecture.
1. Product Vision & Roadmap
- Build the vision for a packaged ERP with IFRS compliance.
- Define a 12–24 month roadmap (MVP → commercial release → add-on marketplace).
2. Analysis & Mapping
- Gather requirements from the current PHP system.
- Conduct As-Is/To-Be analysis, identify functional gaps, prioritize features (MoSCoW).
- Benchmark Odoo (module/add-on structure, installation, multi-company/multi-currency, deferred revenue, asset, consolidation).
3. Product Design (Odoo-style Modular Monolith)
- Define core modules (Accounting, AR/AP, FA, Inventory, CRM, Workflow) with add-on extensions.
- Standardize configuration templates (COA, tax, currencies).
- Define posting rules, period lock, idempotency at the business level.
4. Packaging & Deployment
- Specify requirements for packaging (Docker Compose, volumes).
- Seed sample data, quick-setup wizards, backup/restore standards.
- Ensure Odoo.sh-style deployment (staging/prod, auto build/test, one-click deploy).
5. Documentation & Backlog Management
- Write PRD/SRS (goal, scope, non-goals).
- Create user stories, acceptance criteria, BPMN/UML process models, and wireframes (Figma).
- Maintain product backlog, prioritize features, and coordinate sprints.
6. IFRS Compliance
- Collaborate with accounting/IFRS advisors to ensure compliance with IFRS 15 (Revenue), IFRS 16 (Leases), IAS 21 (FX), IAS 2 (COGS).
- Develop UAT checklists based on IFRS standards.
7. UAT & Go-to-Market
- Plan UAT, create demo scripts, and user guides (setup wizard, multi-currency).
- Define pricing/bundling strategy (per user/module, commercial orientation).
8. Data & Migration
- Define migration strategy (COA, opening balances, master data).
- Create mapping rules, dual-run scenarios, and ensure zero data loss.
9. Quality Governance
- Define DoR/DoD, non-functional requirements (performance, security, audit).
- Establish telemetry metrics (adoption, activation, retention).
- Propose A/B tests for setup wizards.
10. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Dev (Python), QA, DevOps, Accounting/IFRS experts, and CS teams.
- Lead sprint ceremonies (grooming, planning, review, retro).
