Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive Trade Compliance Specialist to join our electronics manufacturing team operating under Export Processing Enterprise (EPE) regulations. This role is responsible for ensuring full compliance with international trade laws and local customs regulations, managing import/export documentation, and supporting internal departments in executing trade operations efficiently and legally. Fluency in English is required, and Chinese language skills are a strong advantage due to frequent communication with suppliers and regulatory parties.
1. Process and manage Certificate of Origin (COO) applications to ensure compliance with import and export requirements.
2. Oversee and coordinate the scrap and liquidation process to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
3. Monitor on-time customs clearance of inbound and outbound shipments in EPE.
4. Implement import and export processes to ensure compliance with local regulations and EPE requirements.
5. Handle Tariff Code (HS) classification and applicable licensing for import/export operations.
6. Ensure import/export filings are fully compliant with internal and external audit requirements.
7. Support the preparation and submission of the annual settlement report in accordance with local legal requirements.
8. Support in customs brokerage management and customs reporting scheme.
1. Educational background: Bachelor's Degree in Trade Compliance, Import Export, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
2. Experience: Over 5 years of relevant experience, especially in EPE trade execution and compliance.
3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and VBA; experience with Power BI and SAP is an advantage.
4. Language: English (mandatory), Chinese (a plus - not required)
