Technical Support Officer is responsible for implementing application systems to support the bank's business goals while striving for the highest quality. We aim to provide extensive system support by delivering reliable application solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance with a strong focus on hardware and software configuration, including following specific technologies:
- Core banking system: WebLogic, Java, Exadata, Oracle PCA, Oracle Linux, OLVM, OLVH, OEM, …
- Hardware: Physical server (IBM, HP, Dell…), NAS (Synology, DELL...), SAN Storage (IBM, HP, DELL...), Tape Backup (IBM, HP, Dell, Lenovo…), SAN switch (Brocade, DELL…)
- Virtualization: VMware, RHV, OLV, IBM Power VM…
- OS: Windows, Linux, AIX...

Responsibilities
Documentation: Document support requests and resolutions; Document hardware and software configurations, support processes, and technical solutions.
Maintenance: Maintain and upgrade existing systems (Servers, OS, DB…) as required
Security Measures: Follow the policies and procedures of the bank, including adherence to IT security protocols; Promote a secure computing environment and IT security best practices.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges.
Technical Support: Provide technical support and assistance to end-users and internal teams; Assist with hardware and software installations, configurations, and maintenance, including infrastructure components such as Exadata and Oracle PCA, physical server IBM, HP, DELL and virtualization system VMware, OLV, PowerVM,...
Database Management: Install, configure, optimize, Hardening DB: Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, DB2, …; Configure, Troubleshoot and Monitor Synchronize Database (RAC, DataGuard, HADR…)
Data Retention Policies: Maintain comprehensive records of support requests and configurations.
Server Administration: Administer and operate server systems (Physical and virtualization), storage (SAN, NAS), … to ensure the operation of IT systems
System Monitoring: Monitor and maintain system performance, including hardware components mentioned in our technology stack, like Oracle Linux.
Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware-related issues.
Configuration Management: Install, configure, Hardening OS: Windows, Linux (Red Had, Oracle), Unix AIX, …
Compliance: Ensure compliance with the bank's IT policies and standards.
Digital Banking System Development: Participate in designing, building and deploying the system
Requirements
Security: Knowledge of IT security best practices.
Problem Solving: Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues; Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver high-quality support; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Communication: Good written and verbal communication; Excellent communication skills and the ability to assist end-users effectively.
Collaboration Tools: Familiarity with hardware and software configuration mentioned in our technology stack, including WebLogic, Java, Oracle DB, Oracle Linux, OLVM,...
Personal Attributes: Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality technical support; A proactive and positive attitude, with a willingness to adapt to new hardware and software technologies and processes.
Additional Skills: Certification in Microsoft, Linux, or Cisco is advantageous.
Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of relevant technology stack components above for hardware and software support; Graduated from university with good grades or higher, majoring in Information Technology, computer science or other STEM fields (Math-Informatics, Mathematics,…). Ability to learn with an overall course average of good or above for Fresher level; Proficiency in the relevant technology stack components, particularly hardware and software, including Exadata, Oracle PCA, and Oracle Linux.
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills.
Hands-On Experience: Have 1-3 years of experience as a Technical Support Specialist, with expertise in hardware and software configuration, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
