More than 600 employees work in the business areas of photography, media production, media IT and print services and are active at 9 different locations with our headquarter in Vreden, Germany.  

In media IT, we are specialist for automating the creation of catalogs, price lists, brochures, packaging and much more. Our product suite includes plugins for popular design applications and standalone servers that our customers use to automate their publishing needs. 

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager with entrepreneurial spirit to work directly with our Japanese, European and Australian customers as a primary point of contact here in Vietnam.  Your main tasks include coordinating between the customer side and the engineering side, organizing meetings, getting the necessary information. We appreciate applicants who are willing to learn about our framework and are technically inclined to configure workflows (BPMN) or write technical instructions. 

Our media product is related to:

  • Automation of Advertising and publishing materials using a best of breed Framework
  • Transformation of customer product data into marketing materials
  • Using Tools like Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator

Your role & responsibilities

What you will do:

  • Work directly with customers to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
  • Manage customer expectations, be able to influence customer decisions and make recommendations
  • Set deadlines, assign responsibility and monitor, ensure deliverables fall within acceptable scope and budget
  • Coordinate the project’s tasks and keep the communications flowing between the customer, project teams and any other stakeholders
  • Initiate trouble shootings, define and monitor next action points in case of issues, including budget and deadline bottlenecks
  • Perform change management to the project scope, schedule and costs, perform risk management
  • Cooperate with Solution Architects and Developer Team to write concepts, create and maintain project documentation
  • Assist in improving the team’s technical ability, utilization and overall efficiency

Your skills & qualifications

What we expect from you:

  • Having technical background is a must
  • At least 5 years of hands-on working on software products as a Product Manager/Business Analyst/Product Owner. Experience as a software developer also counts 
  • English skill is a plus (both written & spoken, plus presentation skill)
  • Fluent in Japanese is a must
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Experience in writing concepts, good understanding of key concepts in software delivery
  • Experience in working with scrum teams and having the ability to organize the scrum process events are advantages
  • A strong analytical mindset

What is good to know:

  • Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop
  • Industry standards for CI, version control and development best practices
  • Knowledge about ERP, PIM, and MAM systems
  • Camunda Workflow and Decision Automation
  • Scripting with C language, Python and Java
