SCOPE OF WORK

As a Tech Lead, you will be responsible for building and leading a software development team at VUS, with a mission to:

(1) Design and develop IT architectures of groundbreaking software solutions for VUS digital educational products and platforms.
(2) Leading, recruiting & developing the software engineering team, helping them to unleash their full potential and maintain high standards & quality of work.

• Technology: profound experience in Golang, Postgres/MySQL
• Familiar with NextJs, Flutter/Dart
• Have advanced knowledge of complex software design, distributed system design, design patterns, data structures, algorithms and protocol.
• Excellent data analytics skills and ability to explore and identify data issues.
• You have professional experience with Cloud (AWS, Google Cloud Platform or Azure), containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Profound experience with CI/CD, SCM, Prometheus, Grafana, building and deploying infrastructure with cloud deployment technologies
• Familiar with mobile game engines and development platforms
• Decent knowledge in payment gateway integration with e-wallets (momo, zalopay, etc.), internet banking, visa master, in-app purchase, etc. is a BIG PLUS.
• Ability to provide technical leadership and guidance to an agile team of developers, thus helping them improve their technical and soft skills

QUALIFICATIONS

• Have a degree in computer science information technology or related fields
• Have professional experience working in an agile development environment 
• 3 - 5 years of Backend developer experience (Golang preferred)
• Recent and minimum 2 years experience as Team Lead/Technical Lead
• 3+ years of Mobile or frontend developer experience (plus)
• Have a good command of English and can confidently collaborate with external partners/stakeholders.

• Notes: For Manager level requirements, recent and minimum years of experience leading and managing a software engineering team should be no less than 4. Plus,
• he/she must have a proven track record of developing viable and successful digital products at a scale.
