Have working knowledge or experience in:
- As a Software Developer (3+ years developing software)
- Demonstrating solid software development skills - y ou have a portfolio of existing code, sites and contributions.
- Demonstrating strong troubleshooting, tracing and debugging skills,
- Working with TDD, jUnit, Mocking frameworks, Linux
- Coding to complicated business requirements, and implementation to technical specifications
- Supporting junior team members.
- A genuine commitment to getting things done
Technically you will understand and have worked with some (or all):
- Strong Java knowledge
- Java or Java EE Certified,
- Knowledge of patterns, core libraries and frameworks
- Object-Oriented Analysis, Design and Implementation skills
- Demonstrably strong skills in Enterprise Java, including …
- Java Application Server technologies
- JSF 2 with Primefaces
- Java Applets (legacy that we’re converting off of)
- Java Messaging
- Spring and Hibernate
- Working SQL Knowledge
- Comfortable working with some legacy back-end as well as the java mid and front tiers
- We use Genero 4GL for some of our high volume back-end processing
- Experienced and comfortable with
- Eclipse as the main IDE
- Working in an Agile environment (we use JIRA)
- Current Windows experience
- You know your way around Linux with reasonable scripting skills
