Overview

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer skilled in Python and Robot Framework to design, implement, and maintain automated test solutions for Android and WearOS devices. You will work closely with developers and product teams to ensure high-quality system performance and compliance with Android standards.

Develop and maintain automated test scripts in Python and Robot Framework.
Integrate and run automated tests in CI/CD (Jenkins).
Execute Android compatibility tests (CTS, VTS, GTS).
Apply testing mindset to design robust and scalable test scenarios.
Use hardware-in-loop methods to fake input signals (GPS, sensors, workout, etc.) for automation testing.
Build reusable test frameworks and utilities for regression and performance testing.
Collaborate with developers to improve test coverage and product quality.

Qualifications

5+ years in QA automation for embedded/Android systems.
Strong in Python, Robot Framework, and scripting.
Experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools.
Familiar with adb, logcat, fastboot, and Linux command-line tools.
Knowledge of Android CTS, VTS, GTS test suites.
Good problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred

Experience testing WearOS devices.
Familiarity with hardware-in-loop for automation testing.
Embedded hardware validation experience.
Exposure to performance, stress, and reliability testing.

Education

Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.
