JOB PURPOSE

- The Senior Executive will support the Institutional Equities Sales team in servicing institutional clients by delivering market insights, facilitating client requests, and promoting research and product offerings.

- This role supports the business by ensuring quality client coverage, contributing to idea generation, and helping drive institutional flows through timely coordination with internal teams.

 

Responsibilities

  • Products Market Analysis & Services - Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and financial product developments, ensuring clients are informed about investment opportunities and solutions - Support sales and research requests on market trends & intelligence to effectively address clients’ queries and deliver sales products & services - Coordinate interactions between clients and analysts *** Outcomes: + High-quality market (flows, macro, corporate news, etc.) analysis with actionable insights + KPI-based & subject to fit to Senior Executive level
  • Business Development & Sales Execution Support - Assist in new institutional clients’ onboarding, leveraging networks and market intelligence - Track and follow up on corporate access and placement interests - Assist senior sales in implementing targeted strategies to approach and onboard new clients *** Outcomes: + Smooth coordination between sales, trading and research + Timely execution and communication + KPI-based & subject to fit to Senior Executive level

Requirements

  • 1. Education - Bachelor’s degree from a well-regarded institution in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related fields - Must hold or be willing to obtain a valid SSC Broking License - Additional certifications/coursework in financial markets would be a plus 2. Experience - 3–5 years of experience in institutional sales, equity research, client servicing, or capital markets role - Prior exposure to institutional clients or equity markets is highly preferred 3. Skills & Competencies - Solid knowledge of Vietnam stock market and macro trends - Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment - Solid communication and presentation skills (both verbal and written) - Excellent in English (verbal and writing) - Knowledge of relevant programs such as MS Office (i.e. PowerPoint, Excel, PowerBI, etc.), data providers (i.e. Fiinpro, Bloomberg, etc.) is a major plus - Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask under pressure
