We are looking for an experienced PMO/ Software Tester (Japanese N2) to support project governance, delivery monitoring, and quality assessment for software development projects serving Japanese customers.

 

The role focuses on reviewing project information, analyzing delivery status and quality indicators, identifying potential risks and areas for improvement, and providing objective observations and recommendations to both customers and offshore teams. The position supports project transparency, quality improvement, and delivery governance through continuous monitoring and data-driven analysis.

Your role & responsibilities

Project Monitoring & Analysis

  • Review project progress, delivery status, quality metrics, and project documentation to obtain an objective view of project health.
  • Analyze project data, reports, schedules, defect trends, issue logs, and other project indicators to identify potential risks, quality concerns, or process gaps.
  • Monitor compliance with agreed project processes, quality standards, and customer requirements.
  • Evaluate project execution from governance and quality perspectives and provide independent observations to stakeholders.

 

Quality & Governance Support

  • Identify delivery risks, quality issues, process weaknesses, and operational challenges that may impact project outcomes.
  • Raise observations, concerns, and improvement recommendations based on project data and evidence.
  • Provide insights and suggestions to offshore teams and customers on improving project quality, risk management, development processes, and delivery transparency.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying recurring issues, lessons learned, and best practices across projects.

 

Reporting & Stakeholder Communication

  • Consolidate and analyze information from multiple project sources to prepare project monitoring reports and governance summaries.
  • Provide objective updates regarding project status, quality trends, risk indicators, and areas requiring management attention.
  • Present findings, observations, and recommendations to project stakeholders in a clear and professional manner.
  • Maintain project governance records, assessments, monitoring reports, and related documentation.

 

Other Responsibilities

  • Support Manager / Senior Manager in governance, quality assurance, and project monitoring activities.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by Manager / Senior Manager.

Your skills & qualifications
  • Location: Based in Da Nang (preferred), or open to HCMC/Hanoi candidates willing to work onsite in Da Nang for 6–12 months based on project needs. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in software development, holding a position such as PMO, BrSE, QA/QC, etc.
  • Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), project governance, software quality management, and delivery processes.
  • Experience analyzing project status, delivery quality, project risks, and development metrics.
  • Familiarity with Waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience working with Japanese customers in offshore development environments.
  • Proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N2 or above).
  • Experience in web-based systems using Java (Spring), Angular.
  • Banking domain knowledge is a plus.
  • PMP, ACP, ISTQB, or equivalent certifications are advantageous.
