This position is based at the Microsoft production facility in Hai Phong, Vietnam, where various hardware products such as tablets, displays, and Xbox controllers are manufactured.

Production line: MS Device Department -- Service Accessory (Pad/pencil/screen, XBOX controller and bluetooth earphones)
Reliability Engineer doesn't need to execute the test by himself, the main responsibility is to design/plan the reliability test and work closely with the HQ to improve the testing process.
Requirements: RE related experience of course, also it's preferred that you focus on either Display/Material/Mechanical side.
Reporting line: FTE Director, he's currently in China.

Managing multiple design qualification activities and development schedule to improve the quality of product. Candidate will work closely with manufacturing partners and component vendors to perform failure analysis and drive corrective actions for Reliability failures.
Work with US Reliability teams to develop and to document reliability qualification plans for new products
Develop Suppliers to setup On-Going-Reliability test to monitoring mass production.
Evaluate and Drive effectiveness of the reliability stresses or resolve reliability issues related to products.
Participate in component vendor selection activity and drive component qualification activity for components that are critical and strategic to Microsoft product requirements.
Provide reliability guidance to Contract manufacturers and suppliers for release to manufacture phase and lab qualifications.
Understanding of the technology, materials and failure mechanisms associated with major electronic and electro-mechanical components/materials.
Use knowledge of process capability for electronic component production as well as system-level performance requirements to establish Critical-to-Quality performance metrics.

Bachelor /Master Degree in Mechanical engineering /material, physics, chemical engineering, optics, semi-conductor packaging, memory NAND, CMF
Total work experience 5-10 years (inclusive 3 years in reliability field or hardware testing).
Solid experience in hardware test verification
Solid experience from Fabrics industry, battery, LCD display, automotive industry, wearables, speaker, audio, household appliances
Good English written and verbal
Good FA skills is an advantage.
Power BI or Data analytical skills is an advantage
Strong statistical analysis skill, familiar with tools as Minitab or Weibull
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with people from a variety of technical backgrounds, with high adaptability
