POSITION
In the responsible position of the QA Engineer, the future position holder is responsible for the highest standards of quality in developing features and tests.
Your role & responsibilities
CHALLENGE
- Manual testing of new features, in order to provide the basis for test automation.
- Proactively write test automation for features and use cases.
- Collaboration with other engineers & management to define and document the scope for units of work.
- Develop and maintain test documentation - including Test & Regression Reports, Test Strategies, and Acceptance Criteria.
- Close work with Backend & Web Engineers to facilitate the deployment of new software and ensure a consistent approach across the entire platform.
- Development, Testing & Deployment via CI/CD tools along with related quality controls.
Your skills & qualifications
FOR THIS EXCITING MISSION YOU ARE EQUIPPED WITH...
- Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills (including Team management skills).
- Experience using programming languages (Python, RoR, Objective-C, Java, etc.) to automate manual testing or tasks.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with QA processes from the start to the end of the software development lifecycle.
- 2+ years of experience writing test automation code and managing test documentation.
- Experience in API testing, Load Testing, X-Browser Testing, NFR Validation, and other common QA use-cases.
- Experience building Acceptance Criteria and working within an Agile environment.
