Your role & responsibilities
Developers will join our Frontend WordPress team with main responsibilities here:
- Designing and implementing new features and functionality
- Build new WordPress pages from provided designs in a timely manner
- Build WordPress plugins as needed by customers
- Develop custom WordPress themes and functionalities with PHP
- Maintain, update and troubleshoot WordPress websites
- Work independently to create/verify project scopes and provide web development timelines.
- Carry out assignments with the ability to successfully work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Your skills & qualifications
Must to have:
- PHP backend code can be handled effectively and carefully, by professional ways (PSR, MVC, OOP, Systematic Development,…).
- Experience with PHP system development (PHP functions, error handling & debugging, security, testing, dependency management & injection …)
- Know-hows of connecting information between frontend, backend and DB, to create information flows and logics.
- Experience with WordPress development and customization (plugins, themes, action hooks & filter hooks, custom post types, custom fields, …).
- Experience with system integration (APIs, WordPress plugin customization) and code management (Git)
Nice to have:
- Experience with Unit Test writing, API testing and Automation testing.
- Understanding about WordPress core and logic.
- Working experience in Agile environment, understanding about Agile principles and methodology.
- Strong understanding of Design Patterns.
Strongly Preferable:
- Reading and understanding fully of PHP The Right Way (https://phptherightway.com/) & WordPress Codex (https://codex.wordpress.org/)
