Install PC, prepare IT stuff for newcomers, configure, support, and maintain software, hardware, networks, computers, servers, routers, and cablings.
Provide support to users; work directly with them to resolve their problems related to any IT services.
Establish accounts for new users and assist with password or login problems.
Ensure optimal performance and high availability for all software, hardware, and networks.
Troubleshoot and monitor networks, servers, and workstation computer software/hardware problems to maintain an efficient environment with minimal interruption to the operation.
Troubleshooting network problems and outages; scheduling upgrades; collaborating with ISPs/partners on network optimization.
Support the implementation of new solutions or applications.
Perform role-based access control to ensure that only authorized users can access specific resources/information based on their responsibilities.
Monitor and manage user’s network usage, protect users from unsafe, dangerous, illegal, and harmful websites or materials.
Monitor the system daily and respond immediately to security or usability concerns.
Other duties and responsibilities will be directed by the IT Supervisor or Director/Head Unit.
Your skills & qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent hands-on experience in software companies.
At least 3 years of proven experience in the Network Engineer position.
Ability to work independently and in a team but also with limited supervision.
Aptitude to learn new technologies and techniques quickly.
Deployment, installation, and configuration of server hardware, storage, backup systems, system monitoring solutions (such as SolarWinds, Zabbix, Splunk, etc.), automation solutions (like Ansible and Terraform), DNS, Active Directory, and databases.
Be able to work with various operating systems (Windows, macOS, Unix/Linux) ...
Rich experience in multitasking, prioritizing, and communication in a fast-paced environment.
Proven ability to provide operation enterprise services such as routing & switching, VPN, firewall, wireless network, etc.
Knowledge of networking protocols, network diagnostic, and network analytics tools.
Knowledge of virtualization and containerization (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware, Docker).
Basic knowledge about security (Malware, cybersecurity attacks...).
