We are looking for a TechLead.

At WNE Solutions Singapore, we build smart, IoT-enabled building and utility management solutions that power efficiency and sustainability. Our solutions are trusted by clients across Asia, Australia, Brazil, India, and beyond.

We’re about to kick off an exciting and one of the first smart city projects in the Middle East, in partnership with a global engineering group based in Singapore, and we need a Tech Lead to help drive it forward. The role will require travel between Vietnam and the Middle East, reporting directly to Singapore.

Responsibilities

  • Solicit requirements from clients through workshops, site surveys, and solution design. This may include integration with the systems of clients.
  • Lead a team of 2–5 engineers in design, development, testing, and deployment, coordinating tasks between the Middle East and Vietnam teams.
  • Collaborate with internal and external suppliers for system integration.
  • Define work breakdown for the team, for project tracking and reporting
  • Work with the Middle East project team for project management reporting
  • Familiar and experienced with IoT platform
  • Handle change requests and error management while maintaining high-quality deliverables.
  • Release management including version control for integration coordination, Test, and Site Installation
  • Primary programming language is JavaScript, utilizing technologies such as Node.js and ReactJS.

Requirements

  • Have a good working knowledge and/or experience in workflow/business processes definitions, as well as API, messaging, OPC, SCADA integrations
  • At least 3 years in technical lead
  • The main programming language is JavaScript and the technology platform is NodeJS and AngularJS/ReactJS
  • Experience leading IT/OT system integration projects.
  • Understand the concept of layered architectures, components, interfaces, messaging, and patterns
  • Familiar with software design and development, including DevSecOps processes and configuration/change processes in a large-scale system environment.
  • A good communicator, planner, documentation writer, and able to motivate the team
  • Fluent English
