Talent Success's client is a multinational corporation.
This role will lead the application domain architecture for OUR team. You will be responsible to design and maintain the high-level application architecture, based on business requirements. The candidate we are looking for is someone with a strong architectural background in enterprise applications and SaaS, in the domains of productivity systems, and software development.
Your role & responsibilities
- Drive the engagement with stakeholders to identify application capabilities in relation to current and future business objectives.
Work closely with other architects, service owners, and business leaders to develop application architecture roadmap. - Design major aspects of the architecture of an application, including components such as user interface, middleware, and infrastructure.
- Produce documents relating to application architecture, design steps, integration processes, testing procedures, and standards relating to each system.
- Interpret and contextualize strategy for operational needs, and develop specific artifacts (e.g. application capability maps, value streams) to bridge the gap between strategy and execution.
- Oversee application development, coding (where applicable), and implementation in heavily regulated industries.
- Ensure that uniformed enterprise-wide application design standards are maintained.
- Experience in implementing cloud solutions along with integrations to different systems and external applications.
- Anticipate emerging business trends and regulatory/risk issues as a basis for recommending large-scale product, technical, functional or operations improvements.
- Identify and lead problem resolution for complex project/program requirements-related issues.
Your skills & qualifications
Must-have skills:
- 10+ years experience in the IT industry, of which 5+ years focusing in application architecture.
- Experience in the architecture of large distributed systems.
- Solid experience in workflow automation and REST APIs.
- Experience in scripting languages such Java, C#, JavaScript and Python
- Experience in translating business requirements into a technology proposal.
- Working knowledge of COBIT, SOX, TOGAF related standards/requirements.
Preferred skills:
- Experience in AWS
- AWS Data Architectures (Kinesis, Sagemaker, etc)
- Backstage.io
- Mattersmost
- Zero Trust Architectures
