1. Product Development & Innovation
- Research and develop new generator designs, alternator technologies, and hybrid power systems to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Evaluate and integrate new materials, components, and technologies to improve reliability and sustainability.
- Work on energy smart systems, energy storage and hybrid solutions (e.g., IoT system, solar-diesel hybrid, battery backup systems) to align with industry trends.
2. Design & Engineering
- Perform mechanical, electrical, and thermal simulations for power generation systems.
- Design and optimize components such as stator windings, rotor balancing, cooling systems, and fuel efficiency improvements.
- Develop CAD models, electrical schematics, and technical drawings for prototyping and production.
3. Testing & Validation
- Conduct performance tests, durability analysis, and failure investigations of generators and components.
- Define test procedures and ensure compliance with customers’ requirements, and/ or industry standards.
- Work with the Quality and Production teams to resolve manufacturing issues and optimize production processes.
4. Project Management & Collaboration
- Manage R&D projects from concept to production, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, Procurement, and Manufacturing) to implement new solutions.
- Engage with key suppliers and partners to explore emerging technologies.
5. Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare technical reports, test results, and design documentation.
- Ensure products meet safety, regulatory, and environmental requirements.
