Process Development: Develop and validate manufacturing processes, routings, work instructions, and control plans for key systems (fuselage, hydraulics, transmission, avionics, composites).
NPI Implementation: Coordinate with R&D and QA teams for design-to-manufacturing transfer; define tooling, jigs, and equipment requirements.
Production Readiness: Execute trial builds, First Article Inspection Report (FAIR), Value Stream Mapping (VSM) for manufacturing robustness.
Continuous Improvement: Apply Lean, Kaizen, and DOE to improve quality, cost, and efficiency; localize materials and tooling where feasible.
Documentation & Compliance: Prepare and maintain process documentation aligned with AS9100D, Part-21G, DOA/POA, and company quality systems.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering.
Experience:
Knowledge: Understanding of FAIR, APQP/PPAP, PFMEA, and process validation methods. Experience with EASA/FAA certification, AS9100 is an advantage.
