Your role & responsibilities

Review and improve company’s infrastructure and security solution.
Direct the installation and use of security tools (e.g., firewalls, data encryption), to protect sensitive information.
Set and implement user access controls and identity and access management systems.
Monitor network and application performance to identify the irregular activity and report system’s health to the direct manager weekly/monthly.
Perform regular audits to ensure security practices are compliant.
Deploy endpoint detection and prevention tools to thwart malicious hacks.
Implement comprehensive vulnerability management systems across all assets on-premises and in the cloud.
Work with IT operations to set up a shared disaster recovery/business continuity plan.
Work with HR and/or team leads to educate employees on how to identify suspicious activity and raise awareness of information security.
Other relevant tasks as assigned.

Your skills & qualifications

Background in IT, Information Security, Electronics & Telecommunications.
3+ years of professional experience in the field of software development.
Experience with Amazon AWS or any other major cloud provider.
Experience with cloud platform as a service (PaaS) security.
Good knowledge and skills on security testing tools and procedures for platform, software, web, mobile, etc.
Expertise in anti-virus software, intrusion detection, firewalls and content filtering.
Expertise in designing secure networks, systems and application architectures.
Disaster recovery, computer forensic tools, technologies and methods.
Planning, researching and developing security policies, standards and procedures.
System administration, supporting multiple platforms and applications.
Expertise with mobile code, malicious code, and anti-virus software.
Experience with and knowledge of: Endpoint security solutions, including file integrity monitoring and data loss prevention.
Experience with a configuration management tool (Chef) and a tool that helps track anomalous changes to files (Git).
