IT Product - Senior Backend Developer (Ruby on Rails)

• Rebuild and enhance existing client systems utilizing the latest technology strategies.
• Focus on coding, debugging, and improving system functionalities.
• Define and communicate technical and design requirements clearly.
• Build high-quality reusable code that can be leveraged in future projects.
• Develop sustainable REST APIs with a commitment to clean and efficient coding practices.
• Collaborate with internal teams comprising designers, developers, and system administrators to deliver project objectives.
• Keep up with new and emerging technologies to bring innovative improvements to our systems.

• At least 4+ years of experience in Fullstack Developer or Backend Developer.
• Strong experience with Ruby/Ruby on Rails.
• Strong understanding of web processes and REST APIs, with knowledge spanning from client-side applications to server-side implementation.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Heroku, and AWS.
• Proficient in writing clean, maintainable code following good design principles, patterns, and best practices, with comprehensive testing.
• Familiarity with development tools (e.g. Git, Docker)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Have experience or knowledge of React.JS
• Adaptability to new challenges and a quick learning aptitude.
• Ability to implement and optimize best DevOps practices within software projects.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, fostering collaborative relationships.
