• Designing, Deploying, Supporting, Monitoring, Security Hardening, and Optimization of cloud and on-premise servers ( Linux and Windows on AWS).
• Troubleshoots the performance of cloud-based systems and ensures proper security and backup procedures are followed.
• Defines and configures required monitoring, logging, alerts, and audit controls necessary for cloud operations.
• Collaborates and coordinates with Architects, Cyberdefense team, and Security team for the design, build, and production readiness of cloud solutions.
• Oversees and actively participates in scheduling and implementation of enhancements, repairs, and upgrades of cloud infrastructure resources.
• Responsible for implementing, cost-saving, sizing, and scaling infrastructure solutions on cloud platforms.
• Contribute to the overall platform’s infrastructure and associated systems in terms of performance, availability, scalability, and security
• Monitor systems and ensure services availability and timely troubleshooting of reported issues/service requests
• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
• Perform regular security auditing to identify any possible intrusions and identify risks
• Establishes and maintains proper system documentation and infrastructure diagrams.
• May need to work after office hours and weekends based on urgency.

Mus-have skills:

• Strong Linux or/and Windows System Administration.
  2+ years of experience in configuring, deploying, and running cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure).
• Proficient in writing Linux shell scripts for maintenance and automation purposes
• Hands-on experience working with configuration management and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
• Must have a working knowledge of IT security as it relates to cloud-based infrastructure
• Must have an understanding of HA and DR concepts
• Must have strong capacity planning and systems optimization skills
• Ability to work well independently with minimal supervision
• Good command of the English language and in both writing and oral.
• Possesses good Systems Documentation practice.
• Can do attitude.
