ABOUT THE ROLE

As HR Lead at Hex Snap, you will take full ownership of our end-to-end people operations. Your role is both strategic and executional — responsible for building scalable HR systems, developing the team, and shaping a high-performance culture aligned with our startup: speed, flexibility, autonomy.

Your role & responsibilities

1. Recruitment & People Development:

  • Plan workforce strategy in alignment with business goals.
  • Actively recruit talents (in-house or via partners).
  • Design onboarding, training, and career development programs.

2. HR System Setup:

  • Develop HR policies, processes, templates, compensation schemes, and performance evaluation systems.
  • Implement HRM tools: regulations, handbooks, reporting flows, and forms.

3. Culture & Internal Communication:

  • Build and sustain a culture of 'flexibility – speed – autonomy'.
  • Organize internal communications, engagement, onboarding/offboarding activities.

4. Labor Law & Compliance:

  • Manage labor contracts, employee discipline, rewards, and terminations aligned with labor laws.
  • Ensure employee and business legal rights are protected.

5. Decision-Making Authority:

  • Approve hires at mid-level and below; co-decide senior roles with BOD.
  • Propose and implement performance, bonus, and violation handling systems.
  • Work with external HR, legal, and insurance partners within budget scope.
  • Lead internal communication, engagement, onboarding/offboarding initiatives.

Your skills & qualifications

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

1. After 3 months:

  • Audit and streamline existing HR policies, templates, and processes.
  • Successfully onboard and integrate at least 2 key hires.
  • Set up basic HR dashboards for tracking headcount, turnover, and hiring pipeline.
  • Conduct employee feedback sessions and identify key culture gaps.

2. After 6 months:

  • Design and implement a performance management framework.
  • Ensure 90%+ compliance on labor contracts and core HR documentation.
  • Achieve ≥ 70% offer acceptance rate & ≤ 15% probationary attrition.
  • Launch internal engagement campaigns and onboarding/offboarding checklists.

3. After 12 months:

  • Complete the first company-wide performance review cycle.
  • Maintain team retention rate ≥ 85% across core functions.
  • Develop succession pipeline and career paths for key roles.
  • Be ready for promotion or handover into HR Manager/Head scope.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

4. Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years in Generalist HR, with at least 2 years as HR Lead/HRBP.
  • Proven experience building HR from scratch in startups or agencies from small to scaling stages.
  • Experience in recruitment & managing mid–senior level roles.

5. Preferred Background:

  • Experience in marketing agency, tech startup, consulting or outsourcing services.
  • Worked in organizations of 50–100 people with dynamic structure.

6. Key Skills:

  • Proficient in end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance reviews.
  • Able to build policies, internal culture tools, and HR assets from scratch.
  • Familiar with Jira, Notion, MS Teams, Google Workspace, Miro, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Excellent internal communication and inspirational leadership.

7. Personality Traits:

  • Proactive, adaptable, and highly responsible.
  • System-thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Balance between 'people-centric' and 'organization-focused'.
