About Company
We are looking for a young professional to join out IT team as Developer. The main function of this role is to develop applications based on the business priorities established by the IT area in order to generate added value to the business and end users.
Some of the responsibilities of the Developer position include but are not limited to:
- Validate development project requirements by reviewing goals, data input and output requirements in order to recommend development solutions.
- Design project requirements and suggest different options.
- Program project requirements using encoded information.
- Conduct QA (Quality Assurance) processes through specific tests and modify the development accordingly.
- Keep information of developments up to date.
- Manage the source code stored in the recovery console in order to have back-ups of executed projects.
- Provide stakeholders with periodic project status on all assigned projects.
Monitor applications once they go live to ensure proper functioning.
Your skills & qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
- Intermediate English
- Full competency in Java and OOP
- Full competency in SQL and at least 1 year experience working with SQL
- At least 1 year experience in application design
- At least 1 year experience executing QA (Quality Assurance) for development projects
