Responsibilities
- Design, development and maintenance of existing and future apps aimed at a range of android devices (mobile, phones, tablet)
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize our team’s efficiency.
- Collaborate with remote global teams on server integration, quality assurance, cloud test etc.
Your skills & qualifications
Skills & Requirements
- Proficiency in writing Android applications in Java for 3 or more years
- Ability to write structured, high-performance and reusable code
- Proven track record of building and shipping Android Apps using Java
- Familiar with Git (Bitbucket, Github), SQLite, Retrofit, MVC, GSON, Google Cloud Messaging, Material Design Guidelines, Android Studio, Gradle, Maven
- Good understanding of stack from UI to back-end, including web services and server-side integration through REST and JSON
- Integration of third party software
- Good in written and verbal communication in English
- Good understanding of Android app architecture and use of design patterns
- Experience working with A/B testing
Preferred to Have
- Experience with iOS, PHP and/or JNI/NDK is a plus
- Experience with Android Market place & Distribution Process is a plus
- You have an intrinsic curiosity in technological innovations and you are always on top of the latest trends
- Good understanding with agile development methodologies
