Responsibilities
- Perform day to day accounting transactions, managing account entries, documents, payments and finances of the company to ensure they all comply with Vietnam accounting laws and regulations.
- Issue daily revenue invoices.
- Reconcile revenue with related departments: sales, customer service, operations, engineering, etc.
- Check and control business contracts and documents related to revenue.
- Support the Chief Accountant to prepare monthly reports (cash report, revenue report,...).
- Be in charge of tax reportings (VAT/PIT) to ensure all are correctly recorded and submitted in timely manner
- Store and preserve accounting documents for bookkeeping, record keeping, and secure accounting data.
- Able to process large amounts of data, work closely with the tech team to collect data.
Requirements
- University degree or above majoring in Accounting/ Auditing/ Finance-banking or related majors.
- At least 2-3 years of experience working in a General Accountant position, prefer to have experience in fintech, start-ups, banking, and securities industry
- Experience in audit firms, or accounting services is preferred.
- Advanced in accounting software, working with large transaction data, proficient in using Excel, Google Sheets.
- Good team works with excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Careful, meticulous in work, logical thinking.
- Understand the principles of revenue accounting, and Vietnamese accounting standards (VAS).
- Priority is given to candidates with experience in financial investment (e.g. securities, derivatives, ...)
