We are seeking a Professional Senior Full stack Shopify Developer. The job will perform following tasks:

• Reporting to the CTO and working closely with the operation teams ( customer support, accounting) and marketing team, as well as other stakeholders within the company,
• Will be responsible for all continued development and enhancement of our website platforms that are built on Shopify Plus.
• Development of new features as required by the company therefore a deep understanding of the creation of private apps, as well as how they might need to interact with third-party APIs is required.
• Develop custom features/apps that augment the features of the website, or add new ones for different customer groups according to their requirements (e.g. B2B).
• Develop custom frontend widgets that augment or replace third-party offerings, to improve the UX for customers.
• Knowledge and experience working in production environments of the Liquid templatin language, together with common web technologies like HTML, Javascript, CSS, etc are also essential.
• Create product and page templates, to enable the content team to create highly bespoke experiences for specific products, pages and brands.
• Create and retrofit improvements in code across multiple Shopify Plus stores that share the same themes.
• Improve the efficiency and optimisation of our websites, in accordance with SEO.
• Respond to requests from stakeholders in different departments within the company who are looking to extract or present Shopify data according to their requirements.
• Review, test, and provide feedback on work by other developers to ensure code quality. Submit ongoing work for review by peers and/or technical lead
• Write client test plans instructing clients how to set up and execute tests against changes made to the software
• Identify issues with existing code and proactively suggest recommended changes to prevent challenges in the future

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field from a top university
• Experience in building, launching, and maintaining Shopify stores, as well as a good understanding of the admin system
• Minimum of 3+ years experience developing within the Shopify platform for clients
• Enthusiastic individual with a desire to proactively identify and fix issues with our websites, as well as suggest and implement improvements.
• Ability to communicate up and down the company to stakeholders with varying degrees of IT and website technology knowledge.
• Ability to work with high level briefs and concepts, determining the questions that need to be asked and answered in order to complete the business objectives.
• Anticipate the future needs of the business in context of the development of new features, ensuring that they are not “hard coded” to only work in a specific way for that point-in-time requirement.
• Keen awareness and technical understanding of cyber security, threats, attack vectors and how it relates to website & app development.
• Knowledge in data migration and synchronization between Shopify instances
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and DOM manipulation
• 3+ years experience and knowledge of vanilla JavaScript, jQuery, ES2015/ES6, and modern JavaScript frameworks
• Knowledge of Shopify's objects/properties, AJAX API, and meta fields
• Skills in testing and debugging using the browser console and other tools
• Knowledge of third-party services, APIs, and Shopify plugins
• Good English skills, especially in reading and writing technical documentation (equivalent to IELTS 5.5)
