[Fresher, Junior] Cyber Security Operation Analyst

IPSIP is seeking a Level 1 SOC Analyst that will join our Cyber Security Operations team in Ho Chi Minh. This is an entry level role and a great opportunity for someone to start a career in the cyber security industry. Level 1 SOC Analyst is an operational role, focusing on real time security event monitoring and security incident investigation. As a Level 1 SOC Analyst you will actively monitor security threats and risks involving customers’ infrastructure. More specifically, the key responsibilities are the following.

• Continuously monitors the customers' infrastructure to identify security incidents
• Triages security alerts
• Collect data and context necessary to initiate Level 2 escalation
• Responds on to security incidents
• Monitors customer security sensors and SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) infrastructure
• Delivers scheduled and ad-hoc reports
• Works closely with SOC Manager and team towards the continuous improvement of the service
• Job Schedule: 24x7 shift environment

• Degree in Cyber Security or demonstrated interest in the Cyber Security domain
• Solid understanding of network and computer security, security testing, software security
• Experience with Windows & Linux

• • Strong knowledge in network security, Fortigate, Sekoia, SentinelOne, Wazuh, Snort
  • Pentest Tools knowledge Burpsuite, Nmap, Metasploit is a plus
  • Scripting skill set (Bash, Python, Ruby, Perl, Powershell) will be considered a plus
  • Strong analytical, critical observation skills
  • Willing to follow SOC processes and procedures while maintaining the flexibility to “think outside the box”
