Your role & responsibilities
- Manage technology programs, defining milestones and success criteria, resource allocation and successful on-time delivery.
- Exercise technical judgment in working with large, cross-functional teams.
- Develop tools and processes to improve software engineering productivity.
- Review and constructively comment on the work of others
- Work constructively with others in a diverse development community
- Participate in on-line community forums, answering questions, and proposing solutions
Your skills & qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in Program Management on technical cross-functional projects.
- Experience in embedded systems development.
- At least 2 years in technical lead position
- Work experiences in Linux embedded system
- Good skills in embedded C programming
- Familiar with Linux IPC and multi-task programming, Linux peripheral drives and audio.
- Familiar with the SCM tools. E.g. Git/Gerrit
- Developing under desktop Linux
- Git, repo, bitbake, and yocto
- Designing, application, programming interfaces (API's)
- Continuous integration
- IP networking
- IoT, security, and cryptography
- Open hardware platforms (Arduino, Raspberry PI, MangOH, etc.)
- Previous work on open source projects
- Willing to write whitepapers
- Device drivers
