Your role & responsibilities

General Customer Relationship Management:

  • Assist in developing and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts in the Plastic Market
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

 

New Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing customer accounts and new markets.
  • Develop strategies to attract new customer and expand market presence.

 

New Customer Development:

  • Research and target potential new customers.
  • Approach and qualify leads to convert them into viable accounts.

 

Sales Support:

  • Support Business Line Manager in executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations for customers/clients.

 

Market Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activities in the rubber/ plastic industry.
  • Analyze customer feedback and market data to recommend product improvements and new offerings.

 

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and logistics, to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with customer, client and operation team to manage inventory levels and product availability.

 

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline status.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback for management review.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure all activities align with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards in chemical distribution.
  • Others assigned by line manager.

Your skills & qualifications

Functional skills:

  • Proven experience in business development and new customer acquisition is a must.
  • Strong knowledge of plastics markets is highly desirable.

 

Soft skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemistry, or a related field.

 

Work experience

  • 3 years of experience in sales or account management, preferably in the chemical distribution.
