ERP DEVELOPER

We are looking for an ERP Developer to join our existing Apps technical team that provide coverage for MiTek ERP systems (QAD as the core product) globally with locations in US/Canada, EMEA and APAC regions. 

The role requires direct hands-on technical expertise and experience with MiTek ERP (QAD), its underlying technology stack (Progress) and demonstrable experience with ERP integration model for enterprise, global business solutions including the ERP bolt-on 3rd party applications and experience leading internal and external resources by example.

In addition, the role would be the initial contact for APAC region on any ERP issues and project, providing coverage for APAC locations.

• Analyzes complex business problems to be solved with automated systems, including detailed designs that support general business case information that requires additional research, validation, and translation into system solution requirements.
• Modifying existing programs, conducting code-review, and writing new programs conforming to QAD Progress 4GL best practices and standards.
• Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration, and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements
• Leads and coordinates Integration Testing (INT/SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and associated activities such as test plan, test cases and test execution as related to a new implementation or significant enhancements to an existing implementation
• Assisting with the installation, version upgrades, and maintenance of QAD application and related 3rd party software applications
• Provides detailed functional and technical documentation
• Understanding and executing application lifecycle management best practices (change control) for promoting development customizations into production environment
• Advising information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organizational outcomes, identify problems, evaluating trends and anticipating requirements.

Technology Related:

• Demonstratable primary work experience in QAD ERP systems – (EE technical Customization, Maintenance, Report, Inquiry, CIM programs, QRF, FRW, EE Screen design, Configurable screens, process maps, Browses / browse collection / Browse link / Browse URL etc.) 
• Expertise in development of custom modules, enhancement to existing modules and customization standardizations technics: technical Specification, code review, project estimates, documentation, unit test do, analysing functional specifications and requirements, code review, testing and debug any programming issues. 
• Demonstrated ability to create and maintain training documentation and deliver training to users at all levels of the organization.
• Excellent analytical problem solving and decision-making skills within functional and technical areas with keen focus on root cause analysis, problem prevention and system stability
• Good knowledge in Finance, Purchase, Sales, and Manufacturing Work order/Production Order modules of QAD.
• Maintain and improve Application Security proactively and other related Audit requirements in coordinate with IT Security team 
• Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, developments, and best practices - recommend more efficient methods of development and providing effective, efficient technology enabled solutions.
• Active participation of Applications projects providing coverage for ERP topics and touch point as ERP Development lead and proactively identifying applications dependencies and roadblocks to mitigate risks to ensure successful execution,

MINIMUM REQUIRMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ or more years of experience in QAD ERP systems as a technical Applications Developer.
• Solid business acumen on Finance, Purchasing, Sales and discrete manufacturing operations.
• Experience with Applications interface options in relates to ERP as part of overall business solutions.
• Demonstratable experience acting as business partner, providing technology solutions to internal departments in line with overall IT strategy and direction. 
• Excellent team player across teams 
• Effective communicator, be able to gain trust and confidence of business leaders and users to be change management agent.
• Experience with IT processes and common toolsets such as Ticketing systems, change management processes. 
• Experience working in a highly virtualized environment.
• Cyberquery knowledge or experience preferred.
