Your role & responsibilities

  • Analyze current technology utilized within the company and develop steps and processes to improve and expand upon them 
  • Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure 
  • Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes 
  • Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats 
  • Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and fixes 
  • Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended 
  • Collaborate with FE/BE developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic 
  • Gather and address technical and design requirements 
  • Provide training and support to internal teams 
  • Write well tested software to ensure quality, responsiveness and efficiency 
  • Write technical documentation 
  • Troubleshooting issues and problem solving as necessary

Your skills & qualifications

  • At least +3 years’ experience in BE, DBA & DevOps 
  • Have knowledge in following technologies: Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Nginx, Git, Jenkins, CI/CD 
  • In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment) 
  • Familiarity with common stacks 
  • Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. Java, Go) 
  • Familiarity with databases (e.g. PostgreSQL) 
  • Familiarity with development tools (e.g. Git, Docker, Cloud services) 
  • Participate in the entire application lifecycle 
  • Manage cutting-edge technologies to improve legacy applications 
  • Familiar with agile software development processes and tools 
  • Nice to have AWS Certification 
  • Excellent working attitude, problem solving skill, critical thinking, and communication skill. 
  • Previous success developing and shipping a large-scale application with a user-empathetic mindset 
  • Enjoy technical challenges and are eager to explore new technologies
