1. Planning and budget & schedule control
In charge of Architecture, Planning, Landscaping, Interior for:
• Preparing and developing the project plan & budget and specified time frames.
• Reviewing and developing the process of the feasibility study and providing advice on the management of projects.
• Managing the planning and implementation of works.
• Manage or coordinate with other consultants, designers, contractors, construction and related Authorities.
• Knowledge of construction investment procedures.
• Coordination with others for the goal of the project.
2. Design management
• Manage the design of the Architecture-related of the Design Management Department for all works under the Project or other jobs assigned by the management.
• Conceptualize all development design requirements, including preliminary check of suitability, layout, and specifications, and formulate design briefs to ensure that these aligned with the Company's development strategy.
• Responsible for managing the design development process from inception to completion, including aligning with the budget and construction program.
• Actively lead and manage value engineering process where required.
• Ensure that the design meets the required quality and complies with regulatory requirements and corporate governance.
• Manage the design consultants and coordination with other faculties to meet the Company's development strategy and to obtain required licences and/or approvals.
• Assist Real Estate team in design changes due to customer requirements aligning with approval of competent managers.
Others
• Support Bidding & Contract team in evaluating technical solutions to select design consultants and contractors.
• Conduct site visits to ensure quality of work in complying with approved design document, specification, applicable standards and regulations.
• Attend all project meetings and other meetings as required by the management team.
• Any other duty that may be assigned time to time by Management.
• Educational background: University graduate
• Degree in Architecture or higher and other qualifications related to project management
• Experience:
o Minimum 8 years' experience in construction project as management level.
o Experienced in the same position or has been an Architectural Design Manager for constructed Class 1 Project / Township project.
• Knowledge:
o Overall knowledge of architect, construction & structure, MEP.
o Familiar with the construction development for new township projects.
• Skills/ Abilities:
o Strong problem-solving skill.
o Well organization & time management.
o Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
o Proficient in spoken and written English
o Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD (Microsoft Project and Revit, Rendering software are preferable).
