Business Intelligence Analyst Developer

You will play a key role within XPON Technologies as our Business Intelligence Analyst Developer. You will work with various teams within the company to establish priorities and manage expectations with regards to the collection, analysis, reporting and deployment of data across the XPON Technologies Business. In addition, you will:

• Work with the businesses to identify key metrics & dimensions to be measured & reported upon within the bounds of the business rules.
• Develop policies and procedures for the collection & analysis of data working closely with the Group Chief Technology & Security Officer, Group IT Systems Manager and Group Information Security Lead.
• Manage the group’s central data warehouse.
• Produce data centralisation & manipulation pipelines.
• Run reports from existing databases.
• Turn reports into easy to understand dashboards for stakeholders.
• Monitor analytics and metrics results.
• Perform data profiling to identify and understand anomalies.
• Support the business in moving from descriptive analytics to predictive & prescriptive analytics.

You will also have:

• Strong experience with cloud data warehousing & data pipelines.
• A strong understanding of systems integration concepts & options (incl using APIs, SDKs & scripts).
• Deep experience with SQL & Python.
• Strong data analysis capabilities
• Critical thinking and problem solving capabilities.
• Engaging interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with teams across the entire organisation.
• Experience with user documentation writing (for reports & business rule definition).
• Good data visualisation capabilities across multiple BI platforms (eg: Tableau, Looker, etc).
• Strong business & data analysis capabilities.
