Backend Software Developer
We are looking for a Backend Software Developer who will work with our teams in various countries to develop high quality software solutions. We are expanding our engineering team in Vietnam and looking for curious, product-aware backend developers who enjoy solving real-world problems and want to grow with us.

The GrowHub is a Singapore headquartered technology company and is Asia Pacific’s first Web3-enabled ecosystem builder, focusing on traceability and carbon accountability. We are building next-generation traceability solutions powered by blockchain to bring transparency and trust to supply chains.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers and development team to define, design, implement, and test software solutions
- Contribute to product design and roadmap with product-oriented thinking
- Design and drive software architectures discussion based on business requirements
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs
- Take ownership of entire services or subsystems
- Mentor teammates and junior developers
- Debug issues and come up with solutions
- Write high quality, maintainable software code
- Participate in software development as a team member in an iterative development environment
Requirements
- Understanding of REST APIs, database systems, and backend fundamentals
- Proficiency in Go and/or Python (e.g. Django) development for backend services
- Proficiency in SQL (MySQL/SQLite/PostgreSQL)
- Knowledge of essential security design in infrastructure and software architectures
- Demonstrate a good understanding of performance and complexity of algorithms
- Experience in version control tools (Git)
- Experience in testing, and writing production-ready code
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in English language communication
- Preferred 2 or more years of experience in backend and API development
- Preferred candidate with experience in management and deployment of cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Preferred candidate with experience in microservices or high-scale distributed systems
- Preferred candidate with knowledge on blockchain concepts, especially EVM-compatible chains (e.g., Ethereum, Polygon)
