Job overview:

 

The engineering team is responsible for not only developing new features but also for the investigation of production issues to ensure the stable operation of our services. Our target users are different for each application. You must understand those differences and reflect on the final products. 

 

In this role, you discuss the architectural design & implementation with team members and then develop the backend applications. As a team member, you are actively involved in team process improvement and contribute to the team meeting. Also, you always think about what’s the real problem and solve it from the root rather than delivering the workaround.

Your role & responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain backend applications using Java/Kotlin
  • Design, build, and optimize MySQL databases
  • Implement high-performance solutions for backend systems
  • Develop and integrate APIs
  • Participate in system architecture design
  • Collaborate with frontend teams and other stakeholders
  • Write unit tests and ensure code quality
  • Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing with colleagues

Your skills & qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Java/Kotlin programming
  • Proficiency in MySQL and experience with database performance optimization
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices
  • Experience with frameworks such as Spring Boot
  • Proficient in Git and CI/CD processes
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills

 

Nice to have

  • Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with GraphQL / gRPC
  • Experience with Elasticsearch, MongoDB
  • Knowledge of web application security
