Your role & responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain back-end and front-end systems for data intensive applications.
Implement efficient algorithms and data structures to process and analyze large-scale biological data sets.
Optimize data storage and retrieval mechanisms for high-performance computing.
Troubleshoot and debug complex software issues, ensuring the reliability and accuracy of bioinformatics pipelines.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in bioinformatics and computational biology to contribute innovative solutions to our projects.

Your skills & qualifications

Bachelor, Master, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Back-End Developer, preferably in a bioinformatics or genomics-focused role.
Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software architecture.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, NodeJS, or C++.
Experience with databases.
Familiarity with bioinformatics tools and libraries is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
