We are looking for an experienced Back-end Developer (.NET) professional to join our fast growing organization. In this position, you will help implement new features and maintain existing ones. Keen attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a solid knowledge base are essential.
Your role & responsibilities
- Build, implement and maintain software solutions to meet business needs utilizing industry standard tools and Agile methodology best practices
- Develop, design, and oversee the implementation of .Net REST services with a SQL back end
- Provide detailed documentation of API endpoints and models for the Front-End teams to consume
- Apply test driven development and focus on high test coverage
- Analyze system performance and develop solutions to improve it
- Code review: pull requests to ensure they meet best practices and coding standards
- Assist in the development of user stories, estimates, and work plans
- Able to work both in team collaborating in technical design and independently with minimal guidance
- Take accountability and drive projects to the completion
Your skills & qualifications
- At least 3 years in a backend development role
- Good knowledge of OOP, multithreading programming, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
- Experience in C# programming and .NET frameworks
- Experience with .Net Core is a plus
- Knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra
- An awareness of the following technologies: Git, Redis, Docker, Kafka, Git, Jenkins, Apache Lucene, ELK, Load balancer, Restful Webservice
- Experience in software development environments that apply CI/CD is a plus
- Flexible and adaptable attitude, disciplined to manage multiple responsibilities and adjust to varied environments
- Comfortable working in a remote environment, but also willing to commute to the office with a flexible schedule
- Good English communication is a plus
