Glohow was founded in 2016 and subsequently after two investments, became a subsidiary of Kakao Games in 2020. With headquarters in Singapore, offices in Thailand, Taiwan, Vietnam and Korea. Glohow helps businesses go global. Our solutions and services include co-publishing of mobile games and applications, strategy consultation, marketing, PR, product development, project management, LiveOps management, localization, media content production, design and arts. We are expanding the scope of our business by building our own platform to fulfill a vision of providing an optimized marketplace platform for businesses and consumers.

We are currently seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join our team to develop our new product (freelance marketplace platform).

Backend development for a web-based marketplace
Identify and address performance bottlenecks, optimize code, and enhance system scalability.
Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and error handling to ensure system reliability.
Collaborate with frontend developers, Product Designer (UX/UI designers), and other team members to integrate frontend and backend components seamlessly.
Monitor server performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance tasks.

Experience with Frontend Frameworks (either React, Vue, or Angular)
Ability to understand and use HTML, CSS, and JSW3C web standards
Analytical skills (problem-solving, critical thinking)
Minimum 3 years of experience in web service development
Familiar with Java development
Experience with Spring Framework (Spring boot) development
Experience with HTTP (RESTful) API development
Experience in RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) query development
Willing to take the initiative to find and solve problems
Goal-oriented with exceptional execution skills
Open-minded about code reviews
Experience in developing AWS-based services
Development experience in Docker/Kubernetes environment
Experienced in MSA environment
Possesses an understanding of HTML, CSS, and Javascript
Experience with Front-end Framework (React/Vue)
Experience working in a startup environment
Interested in new and emerging technologies and trends
Language Skills: Vietnamese, English (Limited~professional working proficiency)
