Your role & responsibilities

Technical Leadership:

  • Lead the development team to comply with AEM architecture and development guidelines defined by  Solution Architects.
  • Define and enforce AEM development standards, coding conventions, and package structures.
  • Review technical designs and provide implementation guidance.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure quality across HTL, Sling Models, and OSGi.

AEM Development:

  • Lead design and implementation of AEM Sites templates, components, and services.
  • Develop core modules using Sling Models, OSGi Services, and HTL.
  • Support content structure, MSM, and multi-site implementations.
  • Handle Dispatcher-related caching, performance, and configuration issues.

Integration:

  • Integrate AEM with external systems via REST APIs (SAP, PIM, ERP, Adobe I/O, etc.).

Team Collaboration:

  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to GDC AEM developers.
  • Support sprint-level task breakdown and technical effort estimation.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks in collaboration with PMs and SAs.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX, Backend, and DevOps teams.

AEM Cloud & DevOps:

  • Ensure compliance with AEM as a Cloud Service constraints.
  • Support development using Cloud Manager-based CI/CD pipelines.
  • Analyze and resolve technical issues during releases and deployments.

Your skills & qualifications
  • Experience: 4–6+ years of AEM development experience (Senior Developer or Tech Lead level).
  • Core AEM Skills:
    • Hands-on experience with AEM Sites (6.x or AEM as a Cloud Service).
    • Strong experience with Sling, OSGi, and JCR (Oak).
    • Proficiency in HTL (Sightly), Java, and JavaScript.
  • Development Experience:
    • Experience integrating RESTful APIs.
    • Experience in SI/enterprise project environments.
  • Leadership: Experience leading developers and conducting code reviews.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • AEM Cloud: Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service migration or operations.
  • Performance: Experience in Dispatcher tuning and performance optimization.
  • Front-end: Experience with React-based AEM Hybrid or Headless architectures.
  • Adobe Ecosystem: Experience with Adobe I/O and IMS.
  • Global Projects: Experience working on global projects or English communication skills.
  • Certification: Adobe AEM Certification (preferred, not mandatory).

 

Soft Skills

  • Problem Solving: Strong hands-on problem-solving skills.
  • Communication: Ability to clearly explain technical concepts.
  • Methodology: Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
  • Collaboration: Experience working with offshore or distributed teams.
