Netpower Vietnam has vacant positions for Senior PHP Developer located at our Vietnam office to join our ever-expanding product team. You will join an existing international team of great people and will have a chance to contribute to a great success story while learning and growing with us.
Your role & responsibilities
- Work closely with the project manager to tailor business requirements in the technical design, ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs;
- Work with our senior developers to develop tailored custom solutions based on our eduTech platform with Symfony, Laravel, React Js/Ts, MariaDB, MongoDB, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and whatever else is required to get the job done;
- Participate in the full product lifecycle: planning, conception, development, testing, customer feedback, and iteration;
- Ensure code quality, best practices, and design patterns are implemented in compliance with established coding quality standards of the company;
- Keep the team up to date with cutting edge libraries and best practices;
- Proactively suggest improvements across the whole stack;
- Do peer code reviewing and refactoring the source code;
- Good at communication (verbal, non-verbal, writing);
- Daily scum meeting
Your skills & qualifications
- 3-5 years web development experience (Symfony / Laravel / HTML / CSS);
- 3+ years of experience with Database (MySQL / PostgreSQL / MongoDB);
- 2+ years of experience with Caching (Memcached / Redis / ElasticSearch);
- 1+ UI: Material design, Material animations, Custom components (React JS / Vue JS);
- Experience with build automation (Google Cloud);
- Experience containerizing workloads with Docker (Kubernetes a plus);
- Experience in creating or describing design at detail level via UML diagrams;
- Experience developing SaaS style applications and/or public API’s;
- Up to date with current PHP programming practices and principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
